Bodin
Our Consultants
Our
team consists of Masters and Ph.D. level professionals whose cumulative
experience totals decades. Through ongoing training and continuing
education, we strive to hone our skills and knowledge in such fields
as chemical dependency, specialized counseling, education and testing.
This knowledge base equips us to understand not only complex diagnoses,
but the feelings of failure, stress and grief parents often endure
in trying to help their children.
Our
specific expertise is further enhanced by our ongoing travel to
therapeutic schools and programs locally and across the country.
There are literally hundreds of schools, ranging from behavioral
programs to wilderness therapy to schools that combine academics
and therapy. Our consultants visit and evaluate them, knowing that
major differences, as well as subtle nuances, can separate an inappropriate
placement from a successful outcome. Maintaining constant contact
with these programs ensures that we are up to date on staff changes,
environmental shifts, and other dynamic elements in this constantly
changing field. We also work extensively with therapists at schools
and treatment centers, as well as those in private practice, to
assure our families that their students are receiving the best care
possible.
